I have had a warranty 'denied' recently by Fanatic and I'm interested in the views of some fellow SUPers in relation to this. I noticed that my 9'2 Fanatic Allwave developed a sink/depressed area on the bottom of it and after trying to ignore it I decided to ask the question. I showed the pics to a few mates and local surf shop owners and they all agreed I should bring it to Fanatics attention. I sent off the photos and they requested the board in person for further inspection. After the inspection I was told that the area was damaged by what they described as an 'impact'. I was amazed to say the least. Now I'm one of those blokes who seriously looks after my boards, washes it after each use, has purpose built racks in his garage, the board doesnt even go on roof racks cause im right at the beach. I bought the Allwave for its toughness, I definitely haven't incurred any 'impact' to warrant any damage to this area of the board. There is not a mark/scratch on this area of the board. Any thoughts?
