In search of the perfect 2 board surf quiver
Whats your take on it? This is mine.

Surfed lots of boards, still after the perfect 2 board surf quiver, that works in solid waves and tiny stuff.

May have arrived today.

At 105kg and living in a state free of custom builders I believe Blane Chambers makes the best sups for solid waves that suit me. Heavy back foot and bumpy offshore reefs. Love his 9 2 but it is serious work for me unless it is perfect, which is not that frequent over here.

Forget 30"+ they just do not work in solid waves. In Marty Littlewood's immortal works "width is your enemy at speed". If you do not know Marty google Delta Designs he has shaped boards for years, influenced JL sups which rip too.

So the brief - rip in good waves, have fun in tiny stuff and be solid in massive stuff. To address this I got the new 9 7 ripper and the 10 6AA Any Kine. They look the goods - construction a step up on previous efforts lighter and stronger. I will let you know how they go if the nuclear winds ever give out :(

9 7 has more rocker than the 9 2 and the 10 6 has the thinnest tail I have seen. Looking good. 9 7 top white 9 2 middle and 10 6 bottom orange rail.
