my wife tooks some video of the windsurfing at Kyeemagh last Sunday. She also took footage of jetskiiers going flat out close to windsurfers and close to the shore.

What is the rule with the distance jet skiiers should keep from other water craft and the shore.

In the video there are two jet skis that are around 100 meters from the shore at low tide going flat out, travelling parallel with the beach around 20 meters past the netted swimming area.

Unfortunately their registration can't be made out in the video.

I normally wouldn't care but it seems like its pretty well inevitable that more people will get hurt or killed because of one of these jetskiiers travelling well over 60km/h makes a mistake.
