Not SUP but everyone should be doing it
Over the past 6 weeks some of the Roar / Quantum training crew have been cross training with OC6 at Outrigger Australia at Currumbin.

I have to tell you what an excellent cross training tool OC6 has been for SUP racing

Would highly recommend any SUP paddler to get themselves into an oc6 boat and feel the benefit.

Some of the crew that have been cross training are Jake Jensen, Jacko, Steve Walker, Beau obrian, Alison Fullagar, & Myself. All trained by Peter & Sue Dorries in SUP and OC6.

This weekend saw the Australian OC6 Titles on the Sunshine coast and we walked away with "Gold" medals in the following events,

Open Mens 22km steered by Peter Dorries
Open Mixed 16km steered by Joel (thankx for steering us rookies to GOLD mate)
Youngs Gun Mens 16km steered by Peter Dorries
Young Gun Womens 16km steered by young Keale Dorries! She is also into SUP now

All the races we won were filled mostly of SUP Paddlers.

Trust me when i say, get in a oc6 boat and feel it.

Any paddling is good whether it be standing up or sitting down. Watching the Hawaiian's recently at the Quicksilver Paddle festival i was amazed at how well they can paddle anything!!

And many oc6 paddlers can now also see the benefit of SUP training.
