Hi Guys and Girls,

Bayside slalom racing is being held this Sunday. Due to the poor conditions for the season and the opportunity to get some good winds, the decision has been made to credit the results from this weekend towards the state titles, which you well know were postponed twice due to no wind events.

We understand that this is not an ideal situation, but it is more favourable than having a non-result for 2010.

There are a number of newcomers to the club - i encourage you all to come along and have a go. There are plenty of people around to help get you on the water and around the course - you never know you may do better than you think.

The start time is earlier, as we want to get some more races in.

Usually the south easter races are exciting and fast with bucket loads of carnage at the gybe marks - i promise to not be one of them some of the time. They are in my opinion the highlights of our season - so head on down on sunday.
