Ok - so there's been little wind and lotsa angst (he he - speaking personally) on the SB forums so here's a chance to share a stoke.

Sure there is plenty of big issues to yarn about at the mo - and it helps to air contrasting views etc, but there should also be a time n place for celebrating the good stuff.

So here goes.


Friend of wife's passed away this week. very sad, but a relief for her after a long illness.

Had to take a good hard look at my fam and (despite hovering around brokeness continually) life is good. Very kn good. How lucky I am living in our tiny home, a few kms from an unpoluted ocean, with 2 healthy kids and a lovely (although stroppy today) wifey I'd happily snuggle at the slightest opportunity!


Had my 1st proper booger sesh with my eldest kiddy recently, where he actually wanted to get amongst it and charged out into the knee high mush ahead of me. Have tried not to push him into sports and water, and at last he has a taste for it himself. Great fun riding the mush side by side. Hope I remember it when I'm crinkly.

Life actually is good.
