Okay I know this is a political hot potato but I am one of those rare proponents of Nuclear Energy for a greener future. With China and India planning over 200 new plants (next generation ones unlike Gen II Fu.kashima) I hope the rest of the world comes to understand just how important this base power supply is to eliminate carbon emission generated power. I for one have a bigger issue with fracking for gas than the potential for a nuclear power station failure.
Also it was really great to see Robert Stone the director of "Pandora's Promise"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora%27s_Promise on ABC Breakfast this morning discussing Nuclear energy and its green credentials. I know it's going to be a long road but hopefully the general public's perception of nuclear generated power can be positively turned with the facts as opposed to the general fear mongering that they have been ingrained with.
