Bakers was at its fickle best today with a high tide and a gusty swirling wind. I was intending to sail closer to Low Head but the forecast looked like it might become unsailable and Paul and Luka had gone for the early session while the tide was low. I ended up at Bakers around half 11 and 10 to 25 knots early which built up to a gusty 15 to 35 knots and some solid overhead walls,.
The readings suggest that it was a good 10 to 15 knots windier and more WNW at Low Head!
The waves were not giving the usual long rides today with 2 or 3 turns being the norm rather that 6 to 8 turns when its really firing.
