I have had a gutful of legropes that fail when new or only a few surfs old. I have had the following happen:- the velcro doesnt grip and lets go, rope snaps at the base or even the metal rivets holding it together somehow let go. In none of the instances were the waves that big or threatening and in 2 of the 4 failures, I would estimate 100 to 150 dollars worth of damage each time (not including the legrope) when the board gets axed on the rocks or reef.
can someone please tell me a legrope brand that simply does what it says on the packaging and doesnt fail, I dont care how much it costs because its got to be cheaper than smashing boards or travelling hundreds of kilometers for waves and not being able to surf
