This is one of 3 edited bits of 2 runs taken back in October. It was a 25kt Ne off Coal Pt Lake Macquarie.I'd been out for 1.30hrs already & was pretty stuffed but when Tim offered me his go pro for a few runs I couldn't resist!

Plenty of puffing..This was before I found out I could move the mast foot forward to make the board more controllable.
Also since then I've got a smaller fin & a mast that fits the sail so it's more controllable & twists off.I had been getting some gybes previously in the session but stuffed everyone with the camera..All I could think about was 'camera , camera ..sploosh

. It's good to look back on because I think I've improved a bit since this.
Few apologies..we left the sound on as this was my Yipee! yeehaa! day ..so if you want to avoid the mast creak but hear the yeehaas go to 2.03 odd..you'll need volume as although I was yelling at the top of my lungs the camera didn't pick up much. I'll post the others as I get them ( Tim's editing them.) I've left all the waterstarts / stacks in etc but they'll be in the next 2 clips. Thanks Tim!
This go pro ended up on the bottom of the lake about 2 weeks after this was taken. If you have scuba gear you could go & find it ..it was only a few weeks old and full battery! ouch! That would have hurt!

Ps - I unhook occasionally as I was going to try a chop hop but I didn't get to do any.( actually I did do one small one that doesn't show up & did a good one coming back on the other tack but you couldn't tell as the camera was on the other side of the boom & only showed the lake ).
