Hi, I'm wondering about harness length. I'm 85kg, 5 foot 10 and have a freeride 135L board, generally sailing a 7.5 meter sail, preferring to be powered up. I can water start, am in the straps and jibing. What do people recommend in terms of harness line length and why?

There is another discussion on Seabreeze regarding harness line length, but I am interested to know what everyone in Tas is using for wave and bump n jump sail sizes 4.5, 5.3 and 5.8.

From what I've read I'm way behind the times, about 10 years ago everyone i knew in WA was getting shorter and shorter,,,,,,,I'm now concerned about my length (harness lines you rude people) as I'm on 18" when they are now talking about 24" or longer!!!!

been thinking about this after goats the other day, my boom slipped down and I sailed for a while like that, but after raising it again I felt much happier and think I could raise it more with longer harness lines.
