G'day all,
With the first Northerly heading our way I did a sighting run down to my favorite

cess pit to check the water depth for the
foolhardy souls who wish to frequent this foul smelling land of disappointment

.
As suspected with the dry summer we've had the water level is lower than I've ever seen it, the water starts well out into the mud and I would guess that a 30cm fin will be doing a lot of ploughing.
Last year after a dry summer we got 70mm over one night which made the area sailable. this year the level is even lower.
Keep an eye on Harvey and Bunbury rainfall, I would suggest that there needs at least 100mm of rain before attempting it
