With all the hype around Foiling at the moment, is this the shot in the arm that windsurfing in Australia needed? With the introduction of boards by company's such as F-One and Naish (one board does all) it appears to be sparking a lot more interest in windsurfing again. As most are probably aware, thanks to the antics of one of Australia's oldest frothing gromets, JB. Naish have exploded back onto the scene with there new Hover 120 crossover and we have now just received the new F-One Papenoo convertable. Both boards are a no BS all rounder (both fitted with actual mast track) and just as capable as a windfoil as they are a SUP foil or a regular SUP. Its been a long time since i have jumped on a windsurfer but with these new boards its a serious consideration. Im interested to know what the broader windsurfing community think of this, is it a good thing or a bad thing for the sport? As i know everybody should already be familiar with the Hover 120 crossover (the board that JB just cant get enough of) I will only post a pic of the Papenoo

Yes i am a retailer for them but this post is just to satisfy my curiosity towards the whole concept
