In the interest of having a decent conspiracy it is time to go to the root of all evil, also known as The Brotherhood of the Snake.

Anyone know much about them?

They are the ultimate secret society of elite that run the world, invent religions, control the rise and fall of nations and generally run the place.

When Atlantis sunk, they jumped on a boat and floated around until they landed in Egypt, (sounds a bit like Noah's Ark doesn't it?) they like Egypt, which is why there is so much Egyptian symbolism in music and movies.

They started Christianity, or at least marketed it and popularized it after Jesus was killed for taking on the money changers (bankers, although the numerology in the bible is strange, Jesus = 888 but 666 = ?

They originate from the Island of Atlantis, which was a circular shaped island similar to a snake eating it's own tail. You will see this circle symbol mentioned a lot in strange dialogue and imagery. For example, the Engineers ship in Prometheus is shaped like this because Prometheus is pretty much a documentary for the Brotherhood which is why it makes no sense. (I can tell you what it is about if you want) One of their TV shows is The Mentalist, you know, the one with Red Johns circle symbol painted on the wall. (Red John is Patrick Jane's father btw) Both Prometheus and The Mentalist have a big nordic nosed blonde haired blue eyed character who is smarter than everyone, this is common in their films, like the new James Bond. (Classic MKR documentary anyone?) "Bet on red, it's the circle of life" strange thing for 007 to say in Skyfall wasn't it?.

There is a lot to talk about with the Brotherhood of the Snake, from religion, movies space shuttles, moon landings (does anyone really believe man landed on the Moon?) they like numerology and astrology. Like the number 13, which is probably Lunar, but it is little surprise that 2013 is the Year Of The Snake.
