Ride a motorbike at your own peril
Yesterday was driving north on Albany Hwy ( in the right lane)

I stop at the major intersection in Maddington, with only a motorbike in front of me. Both lanes heading north and south are choc a bloc with cars.

As the light turns green the bike accelerates fast but a little slower than a normal bike.

On the other side which are heading south, around 100 / 150 metres past the traffic lights-- a few cars decide to do the right thing and leave a space for a car which wants to turn right or north out of a business.

Unfortunately,he did not see the fast travelling and smaller sized bike.

Luckily no collision------ but only missed the bike by around 10 metres max.

It can happen that quick. The motorcyclist did absolutely nothing wrong, but one mistake by the car driver and he was very nearly history or very close to it.

With no cage to protect you from the inevitable collision---- bikes are a very dangerous form of transport
