it could be because of the
location to surf or night life
value for dollar
great surf with no crowds
nice quiet beaches.

here is one of my choices,
Capricorn coast
at $140-$200 per night for up to 8 people
has lap pool and four tennis courts
very low surf pressure
nice quiet place 120m from beach and point
night life is low key and 5k's to town and more beaches

Thursday morning 6am I pick up my mate Mark off to the South island 7hr drive to Wellington to catch the ferry , we are hoping to surf Mungamanu on the Kiakura coast which has been call NZs best long board wave .

The real reason for the trip was to pick up our new Motorhome /surf wagon and leave the old camper having traded it in (made by the same people).
We get to Picton 930pm start off the ferry and head for Mungamanu arrive 1130pm there was waves but couldn't see much .In the morning we awake to crappy surf but beautiful veiws .






I intend to go come back to here and spend abit of time here in the near future .
