i'm going to be laughed at
but i'm used to it.

i was having trouble with one shoulder when paddling-' telephone shoulder' on the top arm of the paddle

i worked it out that my arm/ elbow was rotated out.

while working to fix it by rolling the elbow joint in i suddenly had a lot more power and less effort and my shoulders were down in a stable 'compressed position'. however it felt awkward with the normal paddle grip. i had this funny cocked wrist thingie happening.

so i started trying grips from power tools. that was ok. then i remembered i had a set of ski poles in the cupboard. cut one up

it felt pretty good

my body and legs moved better and found i had a lot more stabiliy

after thinking about it and experimenting for 3 days and doing a training session i decided to go ahead even thou i'm a bit nervous about it

i can still put my hand of the top if i feel like it
