I've been listening to electronica since Jean-Michel Jarre. ...I'm reminded of one night with a micro dot in particular... and then the whole 80's thing, because it was the 80's, and then House, followed by Techno then a gap because Happy House was everywhere and it sucked, then Drum and Bass. And electronica was just starting to get really good again until very recently. I'll add there was a whole lot of other genres mixed in amongst all of those, I'm not single minded. At one stage I had the entire DKs, Doors and Slayer collection on vinyl. I sold it.

...Anyway. DubStep, in its current incarnation I'm at haste to point out, is the most horrible music ever created in history. It's truly just god awful and sounds like two gay terminator robots giving birth to a transformer while my dial-up modem tries to connect to food processor.

Also there's no Dub and there's no Step in it.
