I know there are plenty of people out there who are poo-pooing foil boarding but if you haven't done it (or mastered it) I wouldn't be writing it off just yet...Just like there are plenty of Sup Hater's there are plenty of Foil Hater's but if you watch the latest Dave Kalama video he explains it beautifully... Until you try something don't knock it or until you try it then you can make an informed observation....
Yesterday my mate & I Sup-Foiled for 2 hours in perfect 3-5 foot reef foil waves when no surfers could be bothered to surf (keep in mind I'm a short-boarder first & foremost) & then you see Marlon Lewis absolutely ripping & loving life in nearly non-existant waves....
It's just another expression of what we all love :0
