Surfboards changing dimensions
If you surf and someone asks you what's your normal shortboard; I hardly know what to say anymore. Used to be 6'2" x 18 1/2". Gradually been going down over the years especially if you not going to paddle it kiting. A 5'8" x 18 3/4" lost sub driver is my go to paddle shortboard (around 25 cubic litres). It's an easy paddle. Kiting on a few different boards from 5'6" (23cl) with varying rocker. This guy on youtube does good surfboard reviews of the latest models and breaks it down for the punter in easy to understand somewhat American language. There are some great boards that he has reviewed (a lot of other shapers are taking ideas from or cloning). You can see most of the models he has reviewed being ridden in the Quicky pro on at the moment.
