2MT CEO of Watersport TAS (tassies answer to Jim Terrell) droped of his latest all bamboo paddle to me this morning, couldn't wait to get in on the water, though i was a bit worried that they don't carry any dihedrel on them and i didn't think i would be able to handle the flutter.Shouldn't have been worried, when you put it in the water it stays just where you plant it, felt just as light and fast as the quickblade kahanna that i have been using for the last 3 years, but with the flex of the fanatic 80% that i use on longer paddles to save my shoulders, the only ones that will have a problem with these will be the pandas when all their bamboo is cut down to keep up the supply for the paddles, though they do remind me a bit of the leaf rake my family had when i was a kid, don't know if you can still get them at Bunnings.
650 grams
Great to see something like this been made right here in Tassie.
