The Single Fin Thread
I started surfing 30 years ago on a Goodtime single fin. Progressed through hybrids, funboards, fish, SUP's, longboards and mid-lengths but predominately been riding a thruster set up.

I am now going to go back what I learnt on - a single fin.

This will be an addition to the quiver as much for relearning how to surf a wave as for nostalgic purposes.

Post your single fin pictures and comments here, particularly if you have made your own. I'm keen to see them all before putting an order in with the local shaper.

Cheers

old school single fin quiver
Being onshore and stormy I cleaned up my man land board room this arvo and dug out some classics. I though some of you would like a look

From left to right

Surflark 6'6" with home made timber fin l did years ago. Anyone know where these were made??

Lightning Bolt Cordingly 6'6"

Blaxell 6'10" - Unreal board I used to ride it on big clean waves and it rocks. My current 6'10 thruster was shaped with the same forward hip outline

Smith 6'7" I gift for my 40th last year never ridden it.

They all have some small dings here and there but I will clean them up and get those dings seen to.
