I’m looking for a comparison b/w the Nomad and Armstrong MA mk2. Specifically looking for a foil on those big gorge days parawinging that can tame the energy a bit and easy to turn on the swell. It’s the seems the Nomad would have better low end given the high camber and maybe better glide with the aspect ratio in the 9’s instead of 8. But the MA seems that it would be faster, maybe have better pitch stability and turn better? Not sure. Would love to hear some input on those that have tried out these foils. Many thanks.

Anyone have experience riding the 1070 or 1270, comparing to the 1180/1350? How is the turnability, pump and glide compared when using the smaller surf rear foil (130)? I'm 100kg and looking at those 2 UHAs for lighter conditions when parawinging? I have a friend who is 81kg and he is absolutely stoked about his 870. Feels it replaces his 880 and 1080 for WF and PW.

Sorry - 4.3 is a one pull. 5.7 is the 2 pull (1.5).

Another data point - the hybrid wing tips doesn't seem to have the same water retention character that the PT Skin has.

That's very interesting as a few people have commented that getting water in the PT Skin wing tips is a bit of a pain in the ass. Would you say the PT Hybrid's low end power is similar to the PT Skin of similar size? I'm looking at purchasing a light wind PW and considering the PT Skin 7.3, PT Hybrid 7.2m and the Quest 6m. For reference I am 100kg, intermediate PW on a Frigate 4.7m and 4.0m.

The 7.3m PT Skin is a great light wind pwing.

The build materials are super light (sail material and lines), so it flies in nothing and drifts well during turns (reminds me of a Peak4).
Gybing is really straight forward and turning is great (helped by the huge handle).

Not sure of the low number to get up and going, (10/12??) but the high number is probably around 15/16 knots (adding a harness will help you hold down even more power).

A really good pwing.

Have you been able to do downloop jibes or tacks with it? or is the 7.3m ptskin too big to maneuver well?
thx
