Sergio, I am more interested in your custom Tillo! I wish something like that was available off the shelf. How does your board compare to the Element?
Does your board have a rocker line similar to the Element or is flat at the tail?

My board is 5'7" vs. element 8'2"", pretty flat. If I make another one, I would put cutout and reduce width from 80 cm maybe to 72-75... Element is big and stable , very good in displacement mode for take off and feels surprisingly small for it's size once in the air. But I do like my short boards and short fusilages although it is a better workout, and the low drag and manuverebility of F4 at a new level

The reason for my post is that Tillo stumbled on combination of board/foil type with very small sails that requires very little technique to foil in even in the lightest of winds that unfortunately common in Miami. That did surprise me when on the last session together he's sail size was a little smaller than mine and I had to work harder to take off. In the past he would be using +2 M2 bigger sail since I'm probably 50 lb lighter and enjoy light winds... My latest foil, btw, F4 manta 850/635, short fusilages specially comparing what Alex uses, very fun but technical, still dialing in...

Yeah that's at least 15kts looking at the water state.
I'm sure it's a neat board and believe me I'd like something similar, but let's ditch the deceptive marketing.

It seems some folks love to quote the minimum wind they see in the day as what it was, others will quote the average. I'm sure there was a 9kt lull at some point, I'm equally sure this board didn't get foiling in it.

Come down to Miami and see for yourself

It's blowing at least 15 kts in that video.

I think it's magic of movie editing that got you fooled on the wind speed. See how flat the water is where he's riding. The only white water is way out at the sand bar. If we get even 12 knots there would be white caps on the inside.

I hope you're not implying thats 9 kts of wind in the video.

Yup, this set up takes off and flying earlier than anything else that I have seen for the sail size.

Tillo international element all in one board+4.2m2 sail+ foil(long fuselage 1050 cm2 front wing), no harness, no foot straps and takes off in 9 kn? and requires minimal skill. If you can't foil it, there's no hope for you ...
