I don’t like wearing boots, but I wear them even in summer to protect my feet from cuts, rocks, etc. The Quiksilver Marathon Sessions slip into and out of the footstraps more easily than others I’ve had.
I set the footstraps narrow (the tightest position of the metal top washers) and loose. I haven’t had any issue so far.”

I'd say the Fanatic Blasts are rather on the narrow side by today's freeride standards. Certainly narrower than the Gecko. I've owned both, and for anyone at an intermediate or advanced level, my firm recommendation would be the Blast between those two. It simply does everything better. The only real advantage the Gecko has, in my view, is that it's a bit more stable when you're off the plane.

Personally, I have no problem using large sails. They don't feel heavy or tiring to me. Plus, I love the sensation of closing the sail, transferring the pressure to the fin, and the speed. A 100-105 liter board should be around 62-63 cm wide, approximately, and your 7 m Cheetah is within the comfortable usage limit, so no problem in case you want to change the iSonic.

I agree with the others that 95L is a board that's too big. Something around 75L would be more suitable for use as a high-wind board.

I would stick with a board of the same volume you're using now - definitely not smaller. For reference, I weigh the same as you and mine is a Fanatic Blast 117, which I use with 7.8 and 6.6 sails. The smaller 100?liter version could work for me, but the big sail would be too much for it, right? With that setup (Blast 117 and 7.8) I don't need a wing foil .
