Yeah I never quite worked out why they thought ski boots on the board were necessary?

They are late to the game. 777 has already realsed everything I/we need. They should have announced things earlier! Ozone too, you never know with Ozone when/if they realse. They should have realsed the PR v2 and PP at the same time.
Hybrid is great specially in smaller sizes!

Instead of trying to gatecrash everyone else's promotions with your posts why don't you just set up your own thread. It's getting a bit tiresome &as someone interested in 777 for my next PW, it really puts me off the brand.

Great review. I have the 7.3m and I have been surprised how easy is to recover from dropping it in the water. It flies really well.
And you use the bar to protect yourself against pirates.

What wind range for the 7.3m? I kinda want to get one but can't commit as the wind window for using my 4.3 is so small I think I might get overly frustrated... again...

I meant heel side one handed. Is there any benefit / point?

Foot switching isn't a problem. I always switch back to heel side

I think the beauty of it is that there's no need to foot swap with the PW. Unlike winging where you're twisted up holding the wing, riding the PW one handed toeside is relatively easy. I guess it takes one thing out of the process, foot swapping.
I personally like the feeling of leaning out frontways hanging onto the PW.

When I've been totally overpowered 30+ knots on a 3.3m I find I can foil for longer toeside for some reason. It's uncomfortable requiring full on concentration but I go for further before getting blown off. If I'm riding normal & sheeting right out I just get repeatedly trashed & only manage about 15m before crashing. Anyone know what that's all about? I was wondering if it's because I somehow am sheltering the wing from the wind somehow toeside.

I've just bought a Frigate 4m second-hand but so far it's been really gusty when it's windy enough. How do you get up when the parawing doesn't have steady pull?

You don't. You just swear at the fricking thing & whoever designed the stupid things then go in & pump up the wing to save the session. If you don't get that magical 16-20 knots the 4 (4.3) is a pain in the arse. I love my PW for the 3-4 sessions each season when the conditions line up. I hate my PW for the other 1000 sessions they don't.

I don't subscribe to the idea of buoyancy equaling volume.
I make my own boards & weigh them before glassing to find their volume. I'm 86kg dry so I reckon 90kgs wet & with the added weight of the foil my 100L board sits below the surface when I'm on it. I've done a bit of a investigation into volume & buoyancy but unless someone can assure me that volume=buoyancy as an absolute law of physics then I think there's other factors that come into play.
In saying that I admit I'm bit of a thicko so welcome any arguments to the contrary.

So I ordered a 6m Ka'a with BRM only to reach out and tell me NEW Parawing coming in 1-2 months. Offered 30% off if I still wanted to keep my order or cancel. I choose to cancel and wait for the new product.

Wow! That is great that they let you know. A lot of companies could follow their lead. It says alot about BRMs' integrity.
