Stephen,
I have 2 lengths of 7.8 metre long toe rail at home.
Both never been fitted to a boat. Interested?
I'm in the southern suburbs of Sydney.
Mike

Thanks Mike. I will measure my boat but she's over 9 m LOA. What l am really looking for is a supplier of new torail but that doesnt appear to be the case in Australia.

Have you considered a trailer sailer (TS)?. I have both a TS and a keelboat and the costs of a TS are more manageable and the boat is more fun to sail and more versatile than the keelboat. The keelboat is essential for trips in the ocean.. l bought it sail bass straight...but for your purposes a TS would allow plenty of trips in bays eg Harvey Bay, Moreton Bay etc.
Ts you can store at home and tow with existing car is ideal. Very cheap. Easy to work on if it's in the driveway.
Before people say TS take time to set up and pack down..with practice this is not that much more than leaving a boat on a mooring.
Either way. Make sure you get a boat in really good condition. Looks like your budget doesnt extend to any repairs or upgrades. For keelboat these can be extensive including diesel motor and rigging. For TS the obvious one is a trailer.
