boots in straps. There is only one good fix for it.
sand down the grooves of your pads under the straps.

I would advise against that. Maybe find another type of boot if yours are too grippy

I've gone from no bootie's , cos that's for pansies, to always wearing booties. Sick of cutting my feet and pulling out urchin spines. Breaking my little toe was the changing point. A stuck foot in the strap just before jibing was not good. A quick tack was even worse. Tried different booties and they all stuck, then I sanded the grip off, just under the strap. Worked, the perfect amount of grip, just like barefoot. If your always wearing booties, it works well sanding the grip off just under the strap. Now it feels normal. Game changer. Probably not good barefoot.

Blast from the past.Remember Drooling at all the bright coloured windsurf boards and sails in the shops. Back then there were so many shops. I remember riding from one to the next on my pushbike. Those shops were buzzing. Since then the best windsurf improvement game changer was the clamp on boom then followed by the ratchet extension. Oh , 2 piece masts are pretty cool too

Interesting photos. It seems the operator walked away ** years ago and it's all still there untouched.

More like washed up on to the beach.

I have both , and I think size for size , a 2 cam has more early planing grunt because it has a slightly tighter leech. Combine that with a slight less weight and the fact the power doesn't push down on the board as hard. I think typically a 2 cam sail is the best for early planing.

4 easy steps to Bali windsurf hire.
1 , Choose hire centre and wake up hire guys sleeping under shade ssils .

2, Choose rig components and assemble. May need to bring own rope.

3 , Do quick safety check on the heavy duty fishing line holding board together.

And that's it. Super dooper easy. Enjoy !

Would a 4 kg board perform any better than a 6 kg board? I mean 6kg is pretty light. Would a 0 kg board perform better still? What about a negative weight board if possible? Can too light be a bad thing? How far could you go before needing some weight? The guys surfing those huge waves like weight in their boards.
