Unlike 2 of you said, I am not complaining. I merely asked how to navigate back to the old version.

Not liking something is not a complaint. It is more about familiarity, the colours and layout, etc. I use the computer mostly, and never use the weather pages on Seabreeze. I use BOM's 4 day synoptic chart, the local waters forecast and WillyWeather and specific pages for crossing a bar.
OK, side by side on my wide screen computer:
I like the green and the lighter blue labels. Not as stark to my eyes. Softer writing on the old style, much bolder on the new version. Same info, same writing, just the contrast of colours and text boldness, which is a personal preference not a complaint.

I'm sorry but I don't like the look of the upgraded Seabreeze webpages. If I delete the b e t a in the part after the then it ignores it and adds back the "missing" b_e_t_a prefix.
How can I go back...permanently to the older webpage?

I have the model before the C28, a Northerner 28, much the same, 58 years old...
(Buoy) mooring inspection and licencing/authority about $350 + 400 each year. The insurance was $296 last week, for about $7K boat, hull, sails, motor. A replacement boat would be $18K
Antifouling varies: Last time was 5 or 6 years ago, we've had flood waters regularly which killed off the growth, but the a/f time cost about a grand (crane, hardstanding plus my materials, my labour). Normally a/f haul out every 2-3 years. Engine servicing $200 a year max, I have no anodes due to an OB motor.

Occasionally people on this site post their annual costs, mostly for insurance. If I were to think about it, I could worry at the cost, but the benefits can be intangibles.
I went from a Mirror dinghy 10 foot, 10 inches to a 26' yacht: a bit of a learning curve. The dinghy was more fun, the yacht has accommodation which is cheaper than any other holiday rentals excepting camping.

TriHikeSail said..Also my son is addicted to gaming and hasn't helped me a minute on the boat, he hasn't the interest.

Been there, done that. Laptop and mobile internet at the cabin table, totally blase about what's happening outside of the cabin or screen. Hard to get his attention, needed to shout for help. Same situation with a grounded yacht at Christmas holidays: parents tried to free it off the sand, later I helped with deploying the anchor, the father followed my instructions re: motoring off, this way or that way. Later the son popped his head out to see what was going on.

But OTOH my son loved the swimming, fishing, campfires and walking along the national park trails from the jetty. Just not the sailing part. But it is still bonding. Otherwise they grow up fast and there's no bonding: you have to do something together.

At most you'd use half a litre of oxalic acid or proprietary hull cleaner on the hull. I might do the yellowing stains near the waterline once a year. A half-litre of the hull cleaner will dilute into the millions of litres of lake water. I'm sure the effect on the environment is akin to copper antifoul leaching into the water.

As for engine issues and not being able to move the yacht, you could mount an outboard bracket on the stern temporarily, and when the diesel does work, then fill in the 4 holes you drilled. Not ideal to have a motor so far back, but better than not being able to manoeuvre the yacht. It's what I did.

They're common. It gives flexibility in both planes. I have them on my yacht.
