I have decided to stick with the larger and smaller Surge and longer fuse and larger stab.

Used three times and mint condition.
Surge 830 for $610
Ultrashort advance+ fuse for $310
Surf skinny 300 for $200

I have given the surge and stab a light sand with 1200 to improve glide. Not visually noticeable.
